BAT

 The brand BAT, BAT-Fledermaus and PAN were used by the company Stübgen & Co, founded in Erfurt in 1843.

The first lamps produced were made according to the construction plans of the Nier company and were therefore exact replicas of the pre-war version of the models FH 275 (BAT 158) and FH 276 (BAT 159).

After 1949 vacated brand 'BAT' of the former company Stübgen & Co (HASAG) for the resumed lamp production. However, since the trademark rights (logo and name) were already claimed in England, a new bat pictogram had to be registered.
