JUWEL

The Gustav Barthel company manufactured soldering and cooking equipment in Dresden. The brand name NORMA was used for spirit alcohol stoves. Gasoline and kerosene (pressure) stoves under the brand name JUWEL.

Company Gustav Barthel - Dresden, had a branch factory in Czechoslovakia (Niedereinsiedel - Dolní Poustevna). Therefore on some stoves is "Made in Czechoslovakia".

After the Second World War, the company was nationalized and restructured into VEB Lötgeräte Dresden, which continued to produce until after the fall of communism in 1989. The company logo, an oval with two crossed swords, was retained.
